FAQ
Below are some of the common questions that we receive before working with our clients. Have one that's not on here? Let us know and we'll try to answer to as soon as possible!
How much do you charge?
We can only determine this in the research analysis phase since it is dependant on a number of variables. The project's needs, scope, budget and deadline are all a factor here. However, rest assured that Fixated Design will strive to get you the best value tailored to suite your budget and meet your deadline.
What if we are working with a limited budget?
Whatever your budget, we will be happy to work with you to discuss what Fixated Design can do for you. In cases where the budget is just too small for us to accommodate, we will be happy to refer you to someone else.
How long will my project take to complete?
This is really determined on a project-by-project basis and is typically estimated in the initial research analysis phase. Smaller projects can take as little to two to three weeks, while other larger and more complex projects can take 1-4 months to complete. You can help your project move along more quickly just by giving us the content, approvals, or other things we need in a timely fashion.
Do you handle the printing or web hosting?
To maintain quality, we prefer to handle printing. We have a list of quality approved print vendors that meet our standards. However, if you prefer to handle printing we are able to simply prepare your files for print production. For web hosting/registration we are happy to handle that for you if you so choose. If you’ve already taken care of that yourself, that's fine also. Just send us the FTP information given to you by your provider and we'll take care of it from there.
How many design options/revisions do I get?
This also varies project-by-project basis and is dependant on your deadline and budget. This is discussed before we prepare your project estimate in the research analysis phase and we typically try to budget for 2-3 different options on all projects with 2 major rounds of revisions on the chosen option. If you feel you will require more options in the given contract additional fees will apply.
What if I'm in a hurry and need this job quickly?
Creatives usually have a saying: Good. Fast. Cheap. Pick two. The more time your company, and target audience is researched, the more successful your results will be. However, we do understand that sometimes deadlines can be constricting. We can cater to rush jobs, but not without rush fees since it often results in working over time and long after office hours are over.
